Join us April 13th at 7pm when the Racial Reconciliation Collaborative hosts a moderated panel discussion on “The Path Toward Racial Harmony and Justice”. The panel discussion will focus on the current state of race relations and social justice in Annapolis and Anne Arundel County.

About the event

The first program in the RRC Speaker Series will be a discussion about the current state of race relations and social justice in Annapolis and Anne Arundel county.

Panelists from Public Education, Local Government, Community Activists, Private Business, and the Faith Community will talk about what is being done to affect change in our county and share ideas for how organizations and individuals can make a difference in our community.

Confirmed moderator and panelists include:

  • Rick Hutzell - Moderator, Former Editor of the Capital Gazette and Columnist with the Baltimore Banner,

  • Dr. Maisha Gillins - AACPS Director of Equity and Accelerated Student Achievement,

  • Janice Hayes-Williams - Commissioner of Maryland Heritage Area's Authority,
