Maryland Hall will host a presentation of the exhibit, Freedom Way, led by creator Bishop Craig Coates of Fresh Start Church. The collection is a kind of pop-up museum to help set a historic intention for Juneteenth.

About the event
Maryland Hall will host a presentation of the exhibit, Freedom Way, led by creator Bishop Craig Coates of Fresh Start Church. Freedom Way is a collection of boldly framed graphic posters, each depicting in words and pictures some of the many milestones and inhumanities experienced by Black people on the long road to freedom from enslavement. The collection, a kind of pop-up museum was created by Bishop Craig Coates of Fresh Start Church to help set a historic intention Juneteenth and explain why the national holiday was being observed.
Following the presentation, attendees can visit the exhibit along with other exhibits in the galleries.
A reception will be held in the Bowen theater at 4:00 pm - Registration required.
