How We Love Matters Book Study on Zoom
About the event
Join Asbury United Methodist Church's Racial Reconciliation Group, Be the Bridge, for a book study on the 4th Monday of the month from January through March.
Starting January 2023 we'll be reading How We Love Matters by Albert Tate. For more book information & to get a copy visit: https://howwelovematters.com/
We will be discussing chapters according to this schedule:
January 23 - Chapters 1-3
February 27 - Chapters 4-6
March 27 - Chapters 7-9
From the book jacket: "How We Love Matters is a series of nine moving letters, reminiscent of Dr. King's Letter from Birmingham Jail, about different aspects of American and Christian culture. [...] "The book educates and enlightens in a way that flips the church on its head. It looks to the life of our savior Jesus Christ as a clear and inspiring model of how we need to treat and love one another as siblings and neighbors, regardless of differences like skin color, culture, language, or beliefs."
